When is it going to end?
Global Warming will cause violent volcanic explosions.
Global Warming will cause more tsunami's.
Global Warming will cause more earthquakes.
Global Warming will cause more landslides.
The only thing we're missing from this tirade is Global Warming causing more forest fires, or higher gas prices...
Violent volcanic explosions are and can be associated with higher sea levels. Why? The ground water (water table) rides above heavier saline water. And the higher the water table, the more pressure is built up in a coastal volcano as the superheated water looks for a way out of the mountain.
If there is anyone out there who doesn't know about earthquakes, stop reading this now. Go back to watching updates on Paris Hilton.
Tsunami's are caused by several factors, including sudden tectonic plate movements or large landslides in a narrow area. Is there any way increased temperatures can cause a tsunami? Doubtful, unless you have a really bad rain storm, followed by a minor earthquake, which causes a huge landslide in a very confined area.
CAN THIS BE BLAMED ON CYCLICAL GLOBAL WARMING, ASSOCIATED WITH INTER-GLACIAL PERIODS???
Yes, it can.
CAN GLOBAL WARMING BE BLAMED ON HUMANS???
No. If you think it can, I want you to apologize to every animal, tree, or other dead being that was killed by volcanos, tsunami's, earthquakes, and landslides.
Think about this for a while - would you prefer the heat, or the extreme cold found on Mars or the dark side of our Moon?
I'll take the heat, and move further inland. Thank-you.
If we were really in a Global Cooling period, then you'd have something legitimate to complain about.
